Lostwithiel is one of the few
towns in Cornwall to still operate a system of
free car parking. The main areas of parking are
by the Community Centre and along the Quay. Both
areas are within a couple of minutes walk from
Muffins over level roads.
Lostwithiel is served by trains on the Plymouth /
Penzance line, and also buses and coaches. Both
the train station and the bus / coach stop are
within five minutes walk of Muffins.
Access
to Muffins is directly from the pavement of Fore
Street, via a step only 3 inches high. To assist
wheelchair access, custom built ramps are
available for mounting the kerb and also the step
into the shop.
Once inside the
shop there is adequate space for even the larger
style of motorised wheelchair.
Wheelchairs
can also access the garden, which is approached
via a small step approx 4 inches high by the wide
patio doors and a small step down (3 inches) from
the decking to the garden area.
